So, you’ve found your way to the new J Puddy site. Congrats! I’ve spent a couple of weeks getting everything here tidied up. I hope you like the look and feel of it, it’s been a big learning curve for me.
Take some time and look around the site. If you scroll down a little you’ll see the latest pictures I’ve uploaded to Flickr, plus recent comments and a search box. The new design is now online, as you’ve already noticed, (unless you’re reading this via RSS). If you find any problems with it, let me know. If the problem is that you just don’t like it, then kiss my bum.
The image I am using in the background was a beautiful piece of graphic by Precurser, of EndEffect.com, which I’ve sucked the colour and contrast out of. (I think his site’s currently down, cause he often does a redesign around New Year’s.) We’re still in communication about my using his image, so if it suddenly changes for another one, you’ll know More >

Yeah. Merry Christmas suckers!
I hope you all have a safe time doing whatever fun stuff you have planned. I’m off to the airport in a hour or so to pick up my Father, who is moving back to Toronto. 3 months has gone fast. I’m a little nervous to be honest, but excited too.
This week should see a lot of sitting around doing freakin nothing, and loving it. Hopefully some snowboarding, if I can just get me a snowboard. A little DJ-ing most likely. Should be a good week off. Can’t tell yet whether I’ll be blogging or not during More >
New Site Design

I’m working on a new site design, quite different to this one, and I have run into a slight problem. The look is very industrial, a lot of silver/grey and blue, and the name, “J Puddy Plays the Hits,” doesn’t seem to fit with it.
I really like the design, so the name might have to go. Any suggestions?

You’ll notice the Google adds are miraculously gone. I don’t even know how they got there. I think someone hacked my page. Either way, I dealt with that one.Also, a “Recommended Posts” section has been introduced. I’m thinking about a “Recommended Blogs” section as well, but I might get into trouble with that kindof honesty. Or, it might just prompt you all to write more often *cough* Linda Cho. And with better content… … … *cough* …

Even if he wasn’t a good friend of mine, and hadn’t been to New Zealand with me, he would have made the blogroll simply based upon the usage of the word “a-hole” in the title of his last post. Booyakasha.

I’m having trouble making Hello Bloggerbot work, but I think it’s just my computer.
Buying a new one (computer) is being put on hold a bit by my planning a trip to NZ and being suddenly aware of some 4k$ that will need to leave my pocket.

Post 100! Hazaa!
Pudd night was a success. I played Psi Ops, and then slept for 3 hours, and then my smart and clever girlfriend came over (she destroyed us in Boggle two nights ago).
Then… we picked up Mike and stayed at his house and all went up to his cottage the next day. Had lots of fun sailing, and boating, and eating.
Then I headed up to Deer Lake Christian Centre the next day to help set things up for Kids Camp. We leave today for a week of fun, God, foolishness, and other good stuff.

Losing it’s specialness

I just got my template fixed. Or rather, Blogspot decided to let me pages load again. I don’t understand. Either way, I’m getting bored fixing this business over and over again.
But aside from that. Zing! Just got back from my first real date with my exquisite girlfriend, Maija MacLeod. Large smiles all round. Like any good first date, we went to see a movie. After dinner at Kelsey’s, we saw Troy, which neither of us had gotten around to seeing yet.
