This will be the final post on this blog. And the first post of my new blog. Think of this as a philosophical reboot.
When I started blogging in 2004, I wrote about life and everything in it. I think that’s generally what most people blogged about in 2004, so I was little exception. Recently, as the conversation about life has moved off blogs, my posts have been predominantly tech related. As it happens, I’m now spending less and less time in pure tech, and more time learning about people. (That means I got a management position, yes.)
But we’ve also left the modern-traditional church, and have begun to find a new Christ-centric, people powered community of believers that pulses with true life. We’ve also had 2 kids, and we have another one on the way. Family has become a way of life. I feel that I have something to offer the world through writing, and so very shortly I will be rebooting this blog with a focus on fresh, long-form content.
Practically speaking, I’m not going to do away with any of my old posts, but you can expect a redesign, and a new flavour of blogging. I plan to write about church, family, business, marketing, social media, science fiction, and various other vagaries contained in my personality. I hope to contribute something meaningful to these conversations.
I don’t know if anyone still reads this blog, but if you do, thanks for sticking with me. I love you.
