A quick post… I’m in Toronto and having a good time. Missing my darling and my son, though.
I got a new laptop, a Dell Latitude E6500. It’s great, but I’ve been having problems getting it to suspend or hibernate. It would just sit there and try, but fail. The fix was to roll-back to the prior version of the Creative integrated webcam driver. I had updated the driver from Windows Update, and evidently the new one is no good. The version that’s working is 1.3.2.919, dated 9/19/2008. Thanks to “eprosound” on the Dell forums for the tip.
had the same problem, only that mine does not roll back for some reason. where can i find that driver and downloaded it?
Also struggling with this problem. Could someone help instruct us on how to roll back to the 1.3.2.919 version that Jonathan mentioned? I can’t quite seem to figure out how to do this.

I Have 1510 and i have the same problem with resuming from hibernation mode and Dell stupid supporter didn’t answer me .
I had the 1.3.2.919 installed and had problems with hibernation/standby, but sometimes it worked. 2 days ago, I upgraded to 1.6.3.309 (A06) and it gets worst. The computer never more hibernates/standby. I will roll back the driver to see what happens.
Just installed the 1.3.2.919 driver. Hibernation/standby are back in business (I don’t know if it will work all the times), but is clear to me that 1.6.3.309 is problematic.
Try downloading the previous driver from Dell “drivers and downloads” page for your system.
