I have the exact same problem as Augusto. I'm connecting fine to the OpenVPn server in pfsense but I can't access the LAN. I can only ping the static IP of pfsense on the WAN port

Cool but I come across this blog looking for totally other things. Probably that this page has visibility for a word that I'm sure doesn't seem to be appropriate to the content I'm reading in your blog

pfsense will allow traffic to come in on 1194 or whatever port you specify. The OpenVPN client will send out on non specific ports.

Jonathan, thx to you and Frewald for the nice post. Mine is setup for one tunnel to the OpenVPN and it works great. I want to create more tunnels (1 for each user) on the OpenVPN server tab so I can disable a particular tunnel if a user needs to be blocked. Any way to do this?

thanks, these worked like a charm. I did need to change my firewall rule so that traffic from anywhere on any port could only go to my pfsense IP, port 1194 (openvpn).

when I checked my firewall logs I saw that the incoming openvpn connection did not originate on 1194. I'm using the Windows openvpn GUI.
