Having spent a few weeks now working on my Dvorak typing skills, I’m now clocking in around 30 wpms or so. To contrast, my Qwerty skills put me at about 80 wpms. For the purposes of this post, I used this website to test myself:

So, test yourself… see how you do. Likely you’re a faster typer than me, qwerty or otherwise. I ran a few of these till my error count was at a minimum. I think I’m making good progress, considering Qwerty had a 14 year headstart.

ahha, I was 34 wpms with one mistake. Which is pretty good considering I only use my index and middle fingers, and stare at the keyboard as I type, haha. I’m quite proud of myself actually. I think I will go celebrate now. haha
