Those “other” consoles can kiss my hairy bum as well!

Upon your recommendation, I checked out Gears of War on Gamespot.com, and let me just say that I may have spent the better part of an hour watching in-game movies and reading reviews (I’m just that cool). I was blown away by the seamless gameplay and cinematics (the varied camera angles is a nice touch), but as much as I like the animations, the blood frenzy induced by the chain saw bayonet (complete with red splattering on the HUD) is too extreme for me.

Other than that, I can’t wait to play this game! I demand that we have a “boys night in” sometime in the near future (pending Maija’s approval, of course!). And for those of you nay-sayers out there, I should note that Gears of War passed Halo 2 as the most played game on XBox live for the week of November 13.

    I sense a rivalry developing…

Master Chief versus Marcus Felix? Would woud win?

    Correction: “Who would win?”

I apparently can’t type. Or spell.

    Update your blog, J Puddy!

The lack of entries this month reminds of the posting “drought” during the summer of 2005, when there was a “problem with Islam today” for ten days in a row. You have one new post for all of November, and today is your last chance to bring the count to two before we move into December.

Come now, J Puddy, don’t disappoint your fans like that. Lay down some smooth tracks, give me something to ponder, and distract me from my daily routine. I need this, man. How else am I supposed to waste valuable company time?
