Duality

My wife made love to a Canadian guy today.
I’m still deciding how that makes me feel.

We just saw Nacho Libre. Gold! Pure gold.

Saw Superman Returns last night. Let me preface my opinion of it by saying that I had very low expectations for this movie; the trailer really turned me off. That said… I thought it was pretty good. The story was decent and mostly in fitting with previous Superman big screen adventures. The flick was well cast, especially Brandon Routh, who I felt did a really really good job. The special effects were second to none, and I saw it in IMAX 3D. Like seriously… no matte lines around anything… no CG rubber bodies… (that I could see at least).

Go see both. They fail to disappoint.

Congrats my fellow Canadian! Congrats Maija…..

I agree with your assessment of the movie; I thought Routh was a fantastic Superman: very, very accessible and yet believable as a super-hero. I enjoyed it.

I thought they dragged out the ending quite a bit, and i was disappointed that there were no supervillains so much, but thats just supermans deal, he flips out and saves stuff.

I still dont get how he can pick up an island of kryptonite and throw it into space….
