It’s official. Old man Arafat is dead.

He’s been supposedly dead for a week or so, and then officially alive, and then officially “we’re not sure,” and then officially “He’s in a coma,” and now official “His body is being shipped to Egypt.”

Israel sighs a sigh of relief. Palestine screams, “Israel must burn.” I thanked God this morning - during our silence for Remembrance Day - that I live in a pretty much peaceful country. And I asked for mercy for this country for the messed up decisions it makes, like gay marriage, and hating Bush.
