Dynamite.
Aug 28th
I saw Napoleon Dynamite on Thursday night with Jacob and Maija. Jacob called me up and said, “Puddle, do you recall what we did the first time we hung out?” I said, “Went to see a silly movie.” It was Evolution. Jacob suggested we go and see another movie together. It was a silly movie, but at the same time a brilliantly funny and heartwarming movie. I can’t really tell you anything about it, cause it’s so odd, but I highly recommend it to everyone. Well, at least anyone who has a sense of humour, and went through high school. More >
Live.
Aug 28th
I bought Damien XBox Live for his birthday. He’s playing Crimson Skies now. See you soon Jeremy. ;) What titles do you recommend?
Going to camp on Sunday for a week. Should be excellent fun. Nervous, excited. Kindof numb and feeling odd about saying goodbye to Dad tomorrow, as he leaves while I’m away. Jesus give me peace.
Bee-sting
Aug 24th
Just a few minutes ago. Hurts. Haven’t had a bee-sting in years.
I swear it was the most furious bee I have ever seen. I threw a bag of trash at the pole it happened to be living in, and was running to the pole to try and get there before the trash did. The trash arrived a split second before I did, and the bee had stung me a split second later. Count the seconds. One! I’m not even kidding.

Discontinued

My favourite deodorant body spray has been discontinued. It was discontinued years ago, but I only just found out for sure. It feels like an old friend of my parent’s has died.
If anyone can find stashes of this deodorant body spray left anywhere in the world, you will be rewarded.
Move to the beat that moves your feet
Aug 23rd
Wicked weekend. I spun up a frenzy of beats and melodies on Friday night, which was very well received (thank the Lord). Pastor Duncan told me I am no longer Pudd, but have become Dr Pudd. I was amused.

Finishing it up.

There’s a couple of new photos in the “Haircut” gallery. The actual shaving part. It hurts. I cut myself so bad the other day, it bled like an unexpected amputation.
Ready… Set… Spin! Again!

Will be laying down some more fine trance music tomorrow night at Youth Network. I’m a little apprehensive, as I have spent very little time practicing for it. About half the set will be new stuff, which I only bought on the weekend, so I’m trying hard to familiarize myself with them. It’s not far off playing a brand new song in a band. You’ll want to learn it good before you play it publicly.
The other problem is that this is session number 2. I don’t want to disappoint anyone who showed up for session 1, plus I don’t want More >

I’m a real dj now. Ask anyone.
So Friday night went really well. :) I played a short set, maybe 25 minutes. I was cut short by the power being pulled from the soundboard. Hehe, it was actually kindof funny. Andrew had just told me I had 2 or 3 minutes left, so I said, “Alright,” and was getting ready to finish off. I was watching the record that was currently playing (Love Comes Again, by Tiesto) and I knew that I didn’t have much left, and so was getting ready to drop in Arya, by DJ Energy, and the next More >

It turns out that my Dad is not moving to Australia after all. He is going there for 3 months, and then coming back. I was completely un-aware of the coming back part, so I’m rather a bit more joyous now. Three months is a lot better than forever, in my opinion.
The Village
Aug 12th
I went to see The Village last night with Damien and Dad. M. Night Shyamalan’s latest foray into thrilling, artistic film. I’ll do my best not to give away any secrets, as I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and recommend you all to see it.
I went into it doubtful, as a good friend had told me it was one of the worst movies he’d seen in a while. However, we disagree a fair amount on movies (like the Spiderman vs Hulk debacle. At least they hired real actors for Hulk.) and so I wasn’t too convinced it would suck. It didn’t. More >
